Brad Forth

Senior Partner

Brad Forth is a Senior Partner at Neos Partners.  Brad serves on the board of directors of FastGrid and PwrQ.  He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Array Technologies (NASDAQ: ARRY) and Shoals Technologies Group (NASDAQ: SHLS).

Prior to joining Neos, from 2006 through 2021, Brad served as a Managing Director and Senior Advisor in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy. Brad was responsible for thematic research in the power, utility and energy sectors; leading investments in portfolio companies; and working with management teams to seek to accelerate the growth of their businesses.  Brad has spent his entire career as an investor and operator in the energy and engineering sectors, with particular focus on power systems and renewable energy.  Brad began his career as a design engineer at Power Measurement, Inc., where he was responsible for research in the fields of digital power metering and energy management systems.  In connection with Oaktree’s acquisition of Power Measurement, Brad served as the firm’s CEO for eight years until its eventual sale to Schneider Electric.  Brad led Schneider Electric’s Global Power Monitoring and Control business for a brief period before joining Oaktree as a Managing Director.  During his tenure at Oaktree, Brad served in active management roles and as a board member for Array Technologies, Cannon Technologies, GoodCents, GT Solar, Kirlin, OpTerra Energy Group, Power Measurement, Shoals Technologies Group, Ten K Solar, Turbine Generator Maintenance, and Xantrex Technology.  

Brad received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Victoria in Canada.
