Russ is a Partner at Neos Partners and serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. Russ has spent more than a decade building finance teams and scaling operational infrastructure at private investment firms. Prior to joining Neos, Russ served as the Chief Operating Officer of Avenir Growth Capital, a private equity investment firm based in New York that managed over $2 billion of capital. Prior to Avenir, Russ led finance, accounting, and investor relations at Jadian Capital where he was responsible for managing the firm’s accounting and financial operations, and crafting investment and fund structures across corporate private equity, real assets, and special situation financings. Prior to Jadian, he held similar positions at Shumway Capital and ESL Investments. Russ began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and holds an M.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance from Tulane University.
